How to make a tulip flower from corrugated paper. Tulips made from sweets and corrugated paper

My dear guests, I continue the section “Do-it-yourself candy bouquets” and present to your attention new bouquets of candy with step by step photos how the whole process happened. This bouquet of tulips is my favorite, as it is done quickly and WITHOUT A DROP OF GLUE!!! And the colors can be very different! So there are no limits to your imagination here! The only thing I advise is to play with the contrast of colors, since paper flowers do not convey all the tenderness and fragility of real ones, so we make them bright and saturated so that they please the eye!

Also, my Master Class is unique in that the bouquet uses Raffaello sweets, they are easy to get and give the tulip a little fullness! The same tulips, only in flowerpots.

So, you need:

Corrugated paper (3-4 bright colors, leaf paper)

Floral wire 1.2 (there are 15-17 flowers in a bouquet, so we take the same amount of wire)

Double-sided thin tape

White cobweb (about a meter)

Packaging tape or satin ribbon

If desired, a dozen transparent beads to simulate dew

Tools (pliers, scissors, wooden stick)

First, we prepare the wire. To do this, use pliers to cut off the extra 1/4 of the wire. Then cut long strips corrugated paper.

We cut a long strip of corrugation into two parts (please note that the strip consists of 4 whole sections of corrugation and halves at both ends!), and then into another 4 parts each. As a result, we get 8 strips, 6 of which we will need for one tulip.

We stretch the paper slightly, only we do it not at the tip, but below. In this way we prepare 6 blanks for one tulip.

Then we take our shortened wire and wrap the end with tape. We fix the packaging of our candy to the wire.

Let's collect our tulip. We take the first blank and glue one part to the wire (with tape).

Now we position the other sides so that the corrugation takes on the shape of a tulip. Personally, I first secure two ponytails with tape, and then the third.

We do the same with the remaining three blanks.

We trim the excess ends of the corrugation at an angle at the base of the bud. You can also trim after the first layer of “petals”. It’s convenient to wrap the flat part with tape. We wrap the rod until the very end.

We prepare the leaves for our tulip. To do this, we again cut off a strip of corrugated paper, cut it into two parts, long and short. We fold each part 4 times and cut out the leaves.

Let's use a wooden stick. We pull each sheet out in a spiral with a stick.

First we place a short leaf, fix it with tape, then lower down the trunk, a long one and also fix it with tape.

Now we collect our tulips into a bouquet. To do this, I connect two tulips, tighten them with tape, then add one flower at a time in a checkerboard pattern, alternating tulips of different colors. After all the tulips are collected in a bunch, we cut about a dozen more leaves, as we did for the flowers themselves, and place the leaves around the perimeter of the bouquet. We also fix the leaves, 2-3 pieces each, with tape.

All that remains is to wrap the resulting bouquet in paitka or other wrapping paper and tie it with ribbon. If desired, you can glue one transparent bead to each tulip. In my online store I call these beads “Dew”. I glue the beads using tweezers and hot glue.

Thanks to the skill of florists, the variety of colors and corrugated materials, paper flowers can sometimes be confused with their living counterparts. They are used for theatrical performances, candy souvenirs, bridal bouquets and for decorating premises for the holiday.

In this article you will learn some ways to make tulips from corrugated paper.

This flower, despite its simplicity, has a variety of shapes and a rich palette.

Beautiful tulips made of corrugated paper

The master class presented below can help you understand this simple and interesting matter.
Before you get ready to make a tulip from corrugated paper with your own hands, you need to prepare the materials:

  • corrugated red paper for the bud;
  • green paper for stem and leaves;
  • wire;
  • glue gun;
  • scissors.

Step by step guide

Take a sheet of colored corrugated paper and cut a rectangular strip about five by twenty-five centimeters.

Carefully fold the resulting strip in half and smooth it with your hands. Then fold it in half again - you should have a rectangle of five by seven centimeters.

From the resulting rectangle, cut out the shape of the petal. Draw the shape in advance and cut along the contour. Two corners for fastening will be formed from the lower element of the petal.

Now arrange the petals separately, twisting the end with the corners of each.

Place it in a circle with the convex side up and begin to form the tulip bud itself. Hold the lower petals and secure them with a glue gun.

To create a tulip stem, take a wire and attach the bud to the base.

Take a sheet of green corrugated paper and cut a strip two centimeters wide. Then cut out a leaf for the stem.

Next, carefully and carefully, starting from the base of the bud, wrap the wire, moving towards the center. At the end of the stem, glue the paper with a glue gun. Then take a leaf, fold it in the middle and glue it to the stem.

You can make stamens in the center of each tulip: to do this, take a thin wire and wrap the ends with yellow corrugated paper. Then secure in the center of each flower.

Now your corrugated paper tulip is ready. Handmade gifts are especially nice. Please your loved ones with a delicate spring bouquet and your attention.

Let's look at another interesting option for making a tulip.

Making tulips from corrugated paper step by step

Any work process requires a certain staged execution. Therefore, before you begin the creative process and learn how to make tulips from corrugated paper, you will need to prepare some materials:

  • corrugated paper of the selected color to form a bud;
  • green and yellow wavy corrugated paper;
  • black colored paper;
  • spoke;
  • scissors;
  • cardboard;
  • wire;
  • pencil;
  • glue gun

If all of the above materials have been collected, then let’s get to work and try to make a tulip from corrugated paper with our own hands.

Making a spring bouquet of tulips

Draw the outline of a petal on a piece of cardboard. Make the top of the petal sharp. Then cut the template along the line. Next, cut a piece of corrugated paper of the desired color. The width of the strip should be slightly larger than the cardboard template. Attach the template to the strip and cut out the initial petal blank.

To form one tulip you will need six petals. Give the cut out parts volume by stretching their middle to the sides. The tip of the petal and its base do not need to be stretched.

Make the pistil and base of the tulip from yellow crepe paper.

Wrap the prepared piece of wire with a green crepe strip.

Fold the strip in half and apply a drop of glue to the end. Attach it to the wire and start wrapping it. Then glue the end of the workpiece.

You need to cut out the tulip stamens from black paper. To do this, cut a small piece from the strip. Make stamen filaments on either side. Apply glue to the workpiece and glue it to the yellow pestle. Cut out rounded flower anthers from the same paper. Glue them to the stamen filaments and bend them outward.

The base of the tulip is ready, you can proceed to the next stage - assembling the bud.

Tulip assembly

Attach the first petal so that it is located above the stamens. Follow this with the next two. Glue the remaining elements, placing them slightly below the inner petals.

Twist the pointed ends of the petals outward using a knitting needle. Add completeness to the flower stalk of the bud using corrugated tape.

Then prepare three or four strips of green paper and cut out narrow and long tulip leaves.

Bend and stretch, giving them realism. Next, twist their ends and apply a drop of glue.

Then attach the resulting elements to the tulip stem.

We hope that you have successfully figured out how to make a tulip from corrugated paper.

You can do all sorts of things with your own hands flower arrangements amazing beauty.

Conclusion

Once you acquire certain skills, you will be able to make all kinds of crafts. Corrugated paper tulips can be easily combined with any flowers you like - orchids, lilies or poppies, creating spectacular and unique compositions. The field of work is limitless, only your imagination determines the scope of creativity.

Today we will tell you two options for creating bouquets of tulips.

Both master classes are not quite complicated, but proven and effective. Such bouquets will be able to please loved ones for a very long time. So let's get started:

Option #1. How to make tulips from corrugated paper.

In the first master class we will look at how to create a fairly simple bouquet of tulips.

To make tulips from corrugated paper you will need:

  • Red corrugated paper for the bud (or you can choose any other color or make the bouquet multi-colored);
  • Green corrugated paper for the stem and leaves;
  • Wire;
  • Glue gun for crafts (one stick);
  • Scissors.

1. Let's take corrugated colored paper and cut a rectangular strip, approximate size 5 by 26 centimeters.

2. Carefully fold the strip we have in half, iron it with our own hands, then in half again - we should get a rectangle of 5 by 7 centimeters.

3. From the resulting rectangle we cut out the shape of a petal, draw the shape in advance and cut along the contour. At the bottom of the petal there should be two corners for fastening (look at the photo).

4. Now, let’s arrange the petals separately, and curl the tip and corners of each one.

5. Then we give a realistic shape to the petals. To do this, stretch the edges of the petals with your fingers. We do this very carefully and give them cup shapes, as in the photo.

6. Placing it in a circle, with the concave side up, we begin to form the tulip bud itself. Holding the petals by the bottom, where they are curled, we fix them with a glue gun for needlework.

7. Now we will make the tulip stem. Take the wire and attach the bud to the end of the wire.

8. Then we take the green corrugated paper again, cut off a strip 1 - 2 centimeters wide and a leaf for the stem. Next, carefully and carefully from the base of the bud, we wrap the wire with our own hands to the middle. At the end of the stem we glue the paper using a glue gun. Then we take a leaf, fold it in the middle and glue it to the stem.

You can make stamens in the middle of each tulip: take a thin wire, wrap yellow corrugated paper around the ends and secure it in the center of each flower. Looks like the photo.

9. Congratulations! Your excellent bouquet is ready! Thank you for your attention! Delight your family and friends with delicate and sweet bouquets created by yourself. Such gifts are especially nice!

If you have any difficulties or questions about creating flowers. Then you can familiarize yourself with the master class algorithm in the video. Which is presented below.

Option #2. Delicious bouquet of tulips with sweets.

The second master class is about creating a beautiful bouquet of tulips with a delicious surprise in each flower!

For this master class on how to make tulips from corrugated paper, with a surprise, you will need the following materials (the estimated number of tulips is 9 pieces):

  • 9 sweets (preferably chocolate);
  • corrugated paper (your choice of any color suitable for tulips and combined with the packaging of sweets: pink, yellow, red, white, etc.);
  • corrugated paper for the stem and leaves (green);
  • transparent tape;
  • glue gun for needlework (one rod);
  • 9 pieces - wooden sticks (long skewers);
  • special paper and ribbon that florists use to decorate bouquets (the color must be chosen contrasting with the tulip buds);
  • scissors.

1. First, let's take candies and wooden sticks. Using tape, glue the candies to the skewers. We secure the candies with tape - carefully and carefully wrapping the candy wrapper and sticks around the base. Let's look at the photo.

2 . Now we take corrugated paper (colored) and cut 24 rectangles measuring 6 by 17 centimeters. For one tulip, three rectangles will be used - petals.

3 . We fold all the rectangles one by one so that we have a one-centimeter tail on one side.

4 . Then we fold each petal like a candy wrapper along the fold and put the shorter part inside. Let's straighten the petals along the flip line. Let's look at the photo to see how it should turn out.

5 . Take your finger by the edges of the petal and stretch the corrugated paper further. The petal looks like in the photo.

6 . We perform the same algorithm of actions with all the petals - we have 24 of them.

7 . Now we move on to creating the buds of a bouquet of tulips. Each of the 9 buds requires three petals. We attach three petals in a circle to the candy and secure it with tape.

8 . Then we move on to creating leaves for the tulips. Take green corrugated paper and cut 18 rectangles measuring 4 by 26 centimeters. For each tulip there are two leaves.

9 . We fold the rectangles in half one by one.

10. And by analogy with step No. 4, we fold it at the fold like a candy wrapper and slightly stretch the corrugation. Let's look at the photo.

11. We should have 18 leaves.

12. We cut corrugated green paper into strips along the entire length of the roll - approximately 1.5 centimeters wide. We will wrap these strips around the stems of the tulips.

13. Take a craft glue gun and carefully apply a few drops to the base of the tulip bud. We press the edge of the green strip tightly and begin to wrap the stem. At the end of the skewer, apply a couple more drops of glue and secure the end of the stem.

14. By analogy, the same actions must be carried out with all the flowers in order to make tulips from beautiful corrugated paper.

15. To complete the creation of the tulips, we need to attach two leaves to the tulips, which we prepared from green corrugated paper. We drip onto the stems with a glue gun twice at different distances from the flower. Wrapping leaves and securing them to the stem.

16. Congratulations! You have created a sweet and gorgeous bouquet of tulips with a surprise!

17. For the greatest effect from the gift, we will beautifully arrange our bouquet of tulips. Let's feel like florists and wrap the tulips in felt, artificial or jute mesh or sisal.

18. We tie the resulting bouquet. Forming a large bow using silk or other decoration ribbon that you have prepared in advance.

Your bouquet - a gift - is now just waiting for a ceremonial presentation to the lady for whom we tried so hard!

Making tulips from corrugated paper: step-by-step master class.

Making tulips from corrugated paper

In previous articles in the series “Do it yourself paper flowers”, the children and I have already learned how to make roses, carnations, poinsettias and crocuses from paper. Today we will make our own tulips from corrugated paper.

Tools and materials for making tulips

To work you need:

  • crepe (corrugated) paper of different colors,
  • PVA glue,
  • thin kebabs skewer,
  • scissors.

Making tulips from corrugated paper: step-by-step description

Paper tulips are made in the same way as crocus flowers (see. We will simplify the work a little and make a tulip flower of four petals.

Stage 1. Making tulip petals from corrugated paper

Step 1. Cut strips of paper for tulip petals. The strips should be 4 x 10 cm in size.

Step 2. Fold each strip in half, pinch the strip in the center and twist in the center twice.

Step 3. Fold the tulip petal. These steps are similar to preparing petals for crocuses (see photo below).

Now the petals are ready. You can collect tulip flowers from the petals we prepared.

Stage 2. Assembling tulip flowers from petals: step-by-step description and photos

Step 1

Cut the skewer in half lengthwise. Glue the first tulip petal onto it. We do this in the same way as in making a crocus flower: we grease one petal in the center with PVA glue and twist it onto our skewer - the stem. For strength, screw the tulip petal to the stem with thread.

Step 2

Glue the second petal opposite the first, i.e. towards the concave parts.

Step 3

Glue the third and fourth petals in a checkerboard pattern in relation to the first petals.

This is what the assembled flower looks like.

The kids and I did not add two more petals to the tulip flower, because... they had difficulty assembling. And we decided to stop at four petals.

Step 4

Making a tulip stem. We cut strips of green paper 1-1.5 cm wide. Lubricate the sepal with glue and wrap it with a green strip, then wrap the tulip stem. At the end of the wrapping, secure the green strip of paper with glue.

Step 5

Making tulip leaves from corrugated paper:

  • Cut out tulip leaves from green corrugated paper (size: 10 cm x 3-4 cm).
  • If desired, the edges of the tulip leaves can be twisted tightly.
  • Glue the leaves onto the tulip stem one above the other with a small distance.

Step 6

Collect tulips in a bouquet. We added flowers to the bouquet of tulips, made with the children using a different technology, which we will talk about later in the following master classes under the “Do It Yourself” section. Let's put the flowers in a vase. A gift for mom or grandma is ready. This bouquet can be presented for any spring holiday.

Have a spring mood and success in your creativity! See you again on the “Native Path”!

You will learn more about how to make flowers from corrugated paper from the master classes on the “Native Path” website:

— making a three-dimensional postcard with children.

— The children and I are making a gift for dad.

Hello, dear friends! Women's Day is approaching, and my son and I decided to make tulips from corrugated paper with our own hands.

He is going to give them to his grandmother. Of course, it’s easier to buy a bouquet of fresh flowers, but you always put a piece of your soul into a craft made with your own hands.

I think grandmother, and any other woman (mother, sister, aunt, teacher, ...) will be pleased to receive such a bouquet as a gift from a child.

DIY corrugated paper tulips

To make tulips with your own hands we will need:

1. Colored corrugated or crepe paper

2. Wire or thin sticks

3. Scissors, glue, pencil

4. Narrow adhesive tape or electrical tape

Step-by-step description with photos

♦ We used crepe paper, it is a little softer and more delicate, but corrugated paper produces more beautiful flowers.

♦ Take brightly colored paper and cut it into strips of about 3 cm by 15 cm

We used 6 petals for one tulip, so for five tulips we needed 30 stripes.

♦ We twist each strip approximately in the middle and fold one part in half into the other.

♦ Form a small depression with your fingers so that the petal looks slightly convex.
We do this with each petal.

♦ Now we attach a bud to the stem. We apply each petal in order to the wire, slightly overlapping. Then we tighten and secure them at the base with a strip of tape or tape.

♦ Cut out long thin strips of green paper and wrap each stem, securing it with glue at the top and bottom.

♦ We wrap each stem, securing it with glue at the top and bottom.

♦ We make leaves.

We have previously made a template. The length of the leaf is approximately 16 cm, the width at the widest part is 4 cm. But you can draw a leaf at random directly on green paper.

We fold the paper in several layers in the form of a rectangle, trace the template and cut it out.

♦ We glue two leaves to each stem opposite each other so that they do not fall down and are slightly higher than the bud.

Flower petals can be made in another way: just cut each one separately, glue them together overlapping each other and also attach them to the stem.

For the experiment, we also made one such tulip. It turned out to be blossoming.

We collect all the tulips in a bouquet. It can be wrapped in beautiful wrapping paper, placed in a small basket or placed in a vase.

We made a vase from a small plastic bottle, cutting off its upper part and attaching a bright bow.

I hope you liked the DIY corrugated paper tulips.

You can also make them with a surprise inside by placing candy in each bud (a round shape is more suitable).
