Choosing a used Nissan Almera Classic. Weaknesses and main disadvantages of Nissan Almera Nissan Almera Classic where

Nissan Almera Classic is a budget C-class sedan. The car has become very popular in the Russian market because of its reliability and low price. This review will discuss the three-year period for the release of the Nissan Almera Classic model. Specifications, an overview of the appearance, interior and equipment - read about this below.

The history of the creation of the model

In 2006, Nissan decided to enter the budget price segment of sedans, since there were no such cars in their lineup before. On the basis of the usual "Almera", the "Classic" model was built. This decision was made due to the simplicity of the design, which made it possible to reduce the cost of creating a car and thereby fit into the budget class.

The car entered the Russian market in December 2006 in the first version. Options and modifications were rather scarce until the 2006 Nissan Almera Classic update. Specifications were modest, which affected the price.

In 2013, the company completed the production of this model. Perhaps in the near future, the Nissan concern will repeat the success of Almera by releasing a new model of a budget sedan on a different platform.

Appearance

Outwardly, the Almera Classic is a calm and gray car. The entire body consists of smooth and discreet lines. On the other hand, the design does not cause absolutely no complaints. Despite the fact that in appearance it is difficult to recognize the relationship with the usual "Almera", the car does not cause antipathy.

The front part of the body is made in a restrained style. The chrome-plated grille is perfectly combined with bumper elements and smooth headlights. The rear part also does not cause complaints - in many respects, the optics similar to the old generation Opel Astra looks appropriate.

Simplicity and budget - the whole look reminds us of this car. At the same time, it manages to be at least not repulsive, unlike many cheap cars from other brands. For this, the manufacturer and designers are a huge plus.

Interior

Let's move on to inspecting the interior of the Nissan Almera Classic car. The specifications of the interior equipment are surprisingly worthy for their price. The car has everything you need for everyday and comfortable driving. Air conditioning, power windows, ABS control systems, ESP - and all this for a small price. Feels like the interior leaves the same impression as the exterior - simple, neat, but too cheap. Rough plastic looks clumsy, but all the details fit perfectly, no elements creak when driving. The design of the front panel has rounded shapes. Ergonomics are also top notch. The readability of the instrument panel is high, it does not take long to figure it out.

The front passenger and driver seats have standard settings and adjustments. Although the car is positioned as a 5-seater, only two people can comfortably accommodate in the back. But for these two passengers, there is simply plenty of room, even if they are tall or large. For this, a huge plus for the creators and designers of the Nissan Almera Classic 2007. The technical characteristics of the cabin and ergonomics get a solid five.

The trunk of the sedan was not particularly impressive, even in its class it is not the most spacious. But there is a special hatch for transporting long loads. However, in practice, such a solution is unlikely to be useful to anyone.

"Nissan Almera Classic": technical specifications of 2008 release

The last year the model was updated in terms of modifications was 2008. The engine range consists of just one unit - 1.6 liters and 107 horsepower. On an automatic transmission, the car accelerates to 100 km / h in 14 seconds, and on a manual transmission - in 12 seconds. Overclocking performance, of course, is questionable. But again, we recall the class of car and its cost. It is also budget-friendly in terms of consumption - only 6 liters to cover a distance of 100 km.

The cost of the new car "Nissan Almera Classic", the technical characteristics of which are the most budgetary and "classic", started from 400 thousand rubles. For the maximum configuration, the buyer gave no more than 600 thousand. At the moment, a used Almera costs from 300 thousand rubles.

Competitors

Among the competitors in its class, two Chinese can be distinguished - Chery M11 and Haima M3. However, these two models are not particularly popular in the Russian market. Therefore, in terms of the number of positive reviews and huge sales with the Almera Classic car, only the Chevrolet Lacetti can be compared.

Most Classic

The very name "Nissan Almera Classic", the technical characteristics of which are quite suitable for ordinary urban use, speaks for itself. This car is completely classic - from design to equipment. The purpose of the car is stable daily trips with a minimum of expenses and investments in repairs and fuel. For all the time the model was sold on the Russian market, the owners did not leave almost a single negative review. This fact speaks of the colossal success of Nissan in this price segment. Perhaps the company will return to the budget class with a new model in the near future.

Advantages and disadvantages of Nissan Almera Classic 2007-2008 identified based on feedback from real owners. More detailed pros and cons of Nissan Almera Classic 1.6 with mechanics and automatic can be found in the stories below:

Owner reviews

A simple car, sat down and drove off, no problems! Easy to maintain, repair and operate. No special bells and whistles, just everything you need! The car is fully consistent with its price!

The car is relatively frisky to accelerate, very reliable and durable suspension both front and rear. The motor and gearbox are excellent.

Body iron, like paper — just touched and a dent! No paintwork! They simply regretted the varnish, so if there are scratches, then you can polish them a maximum of 1 time. The suspension is very stiff, and the interior trim leaves much to be desired - everywhere cheap plastic that scratches easily. There is simply no soundproofing in the car!

Vladimir, review of Nissan Almera Classic 1.6 mechanics 2008

Video review

For all the time of operation, the car proved to be very worthy. I bought with a range of 75 thousand km. Sold for 120 thousand km. Oil changed every 10 thousand km. The car always started in any frost and drove to the right place. I have never been dragged in tow, and I did not suddenly stand in the middle of the road. I rode 4,000 km one way on vacation, also without incident.

Review of Nissan Almera Classic 1.6 (107 HP) MT 2007

I took it in the cabin, for 8 years I dashed off 415 thousand km. The entire suspension is changed in a circle by 2 times, but there were no serious damage. Of course, the engine is rather weak, and the interior is meager, but what do you want from a state employee? Now we need a new car, but it is a pity to part with a true friend.

Dmitry drives Almere Classic with 2008 mechanics

Bought Almeria in October 2009 sub-dealer for 110 km from home. I've had the car for two years, mileage 93,000 km. No problem. Not a single breakdown. I drive mostly intercity, from 400 km or more! At most 8,000 km in a week. Nothing knocks, no rattles, very warm. The air conditioner works great!

I give a large load on the car, on the highway 140 km / h almost constantly. At this speed, the car feels the road is excellent. The 1.6 engine is, of course, too small for overtaking, but the manual transmission is still not automatic, it bypasses the trucks as standing ones.

I give such a load on the suspension that sometimes I feel guilty in front of it. I traveled on such roads, I thought that there I would leave everything below the car! Not! Is still driving. Nothing holds together, does not knock, does not make noise! I'm even surprised!

I keep the car outside, in the cold it starts up perfectly! It was -30 and even -35, and for several days I did not approach the car, I thought the battery was over - no, everything is fine, it starts up with a pinch!

At the beginning, the consumption was 8 liters per hundred along the highway, after about 20,000 km of run it came to the passport "norm" - 6.5 liters per 100 km. Already scared, I thought that the fuel sensor had deteriorated. But this is if you drive 100 km / h, and if 140 km / h, then about 7.5-8.0 liters per hundred.

The only thing I don't like a bit is the very low seating position of the car. Other cars of the same class will pass and not touch the bottom, but Almera will definitely be touched! The paint is still weak. Chips are visible, and quite solid. Although, of course, after my exploitation, perhaps my fault.

Alexander, review about Nissan Almera Classic 1.6 manual transmission 2009

The overall impression is good. The car captivates with reliability and strength. I often travel around Russia, different regions and roads. There were breakdowns and blows - so far everything is holding up. I regularly do maintenance at the dealer, they say that all suspension components and assemblies are in order!

The car started up calmly at -36 with a half kick. Handling is good, even at 160 km/h. Consumption somewhere around 10-11 liters (depending on driving style). Good brakes. In general, it just works, that's all!

Of the shortcomings, the door locks are the first to finish off - the sound of closing is like a kick on a tin can !!! Sufficiently noticeable rolls in corners. Slightly stiff suspension.

Eric Azbaev, review of Nissan Almera 1.6 with automatic 2012

Salon and exterior. There is no point in writing about the interior and exterior. Not enough: longitudinal adjustment of the steering column (height 186 cm, so here you either bend your legs more or make your back straighter), there is no navigational light, there is no outside temperature sensor. Like: seat, instrument lighting (orange), good stove, heats up perfectly.

You can immediately see that it was saved a lot: there are no ceiling handles and ESP at the back (we drive 99% of the time together), there was no mirror on the visor (pasted by the collective farm), the trunk opens only from the passenger compartment, there is no BC. But there are heated seats, mirrors, wiper zones, air conditioning and ABS.

Exploitation. I left the salon on summer tires, changed my shoes across the road to Goodyear Ultra Grip Extrime. Thus began our great and long friendship with Almera. The first three years of operation was on the track, worked in the north of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, traveled often.

On the suspension: not a gourmet of European handling. I think that it is a little tough, sometimes it hits the rebound, rolls around corners, but it suits me.

On electrics: about once a year, the right low beam bulb burns out, regardless of the brand of the bulbs themselves. Condensation formed on the right fog lamp.

The paintwork is weak, due to the high mileage on the highway there are a lot of chips, but there is no rust. Consumption on the highway is about 6.0-6.5 liters with an average maximum speed of 110 km / h. About 10.5 liters in the city. Gasoline 95th, strictly Lukoil or BN.

What is the result ... We have been with her for the seventh year, we have traveled 105 thousand kilometers. And she gave me everything I needed from her. It does not cause problems, unforeseen expenses, it is moderately economical, moderately comfortable, but it has everything you need. She has a reliable engine, with her you are always sure that you will get where you planned, you will not freeze, you will not weld.

We tell you how to choose a Nissan Almera Classic sedan with mileage, what you should prepare for when inspecting such a car, and what surprises it can bring after purchase.

The Nissan Almera Classic, which appeared in our country a little more than 10 years ago, nicknamed by the first letters NAC or “NAC”, can be safely ranked among the most famous foreign cars of the “golf class” in Russia in the middle of the 2000s. At that time, the models of this segment, which were gradually losing popularity, were being replaced by compact and cheap class B + sedans.

Such as Renault Logan and Volkswagen Polo Sedan.

A simple, inexpensive and solid-looking four-door of a famous Japanese brand for several years became one of its bestsellers in our country, dispersing in the best years with a circulation of almost 28 thousand units, and in the worst, crisis years - a little more than 8 thousand cars. For unpretentiousness, reliability, solid appearance for a state employee, as well as for a low price, the model is in demand to this day in the secondary market.

background

The C-class sedan, known in our country under the name Nissan Almera Classic, was born 4 years before entering the Russian market. Then, in 2002, it was called Samsung SM3 and was produced at a factory in Busan (South Korea). This budget four-door was a product of the Korean company Renault Samsung Motors, which is part of the Renault-Nissan alliance. The Koreans took the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy G10 / N16 sedan as the basis for the SM3.

Sold in Asia and the Middle East, as well as Mexico and Egypt, among other things, this model had many other names. For example, Nissan Sunny and Renault Scala. The sedan received the name Almera Classic only for the markets of Russia and Ukraine, when, after restyling, it entered them at the end of April 2006. Such cars, imported from South Korea, were sold with us until the end of 2012, after which the model changed generations.

"Resale"

The budget Nissan Almera Classic was delivered to us with the only non-alternative body type “sedan”, only with front-wheel drive, with one atmospheric 1.6 petrol engine and a pair of gearboxes. Therefore, the choice of options with mileage in the secondary market is now limited only by the year of manufacture of the car, body color and gearbox type, of which two-thirds of the cars ( 68% ) - mechanical, offered for cheaper configurations, and only a third - automatic ( 32% ).

Body

The body metal of the Almera Classic is quite thin, but resists corrosion not badly, at least if the factory paintwork is preserved on it. But, unfortunately, it is vulnerable to shelling with pebbles from under the wheels of neighbors downstream. Quite often, owners of Almer Classic find chipped paintwork on their cars on the roof, its front pillars, hood and trunk lid. If these shortcomings are eliminated in a timely manner, then serious problems can be avoided.

There is a possibility of swelling of the paint and the appearance of local foci of the "red plague" on the rear wheel arches. On them, corrosion can also occur from the inside due to the anti-corrosion protection of the metal in the wheel arches losing elasticity. Also, traces of rust can be found on the leashes of the wipers and the rear door glass guides. However, their corrosion does not threaten the car with anything serious. But the plastic of the headlights, which is very cloudy and rubbed over time, at 3,500 rubles for each, is a blow to normal visibility in the dark.

Cracked bumpers may well be a reason for bargaining - from 8,700 rubles for the front and from 8,500 rubles for the rear. Their plastic is quite fragile and can be easily damaged even with light contact. For example, with a snowdrift. If the inspected Almera Classic does not have enough protective moldings on the doors, then ask the seller for a discount of 2100 rubles for each. And at the same time, make sure that the chrome has not peeled off on the Nissan logos, as well as on the upper and lower crossbars of the grille, which costs 4800 rubles.

Engines

The 107-horsepower in-line 1.6 QG16DE petrol four with a cast-iron block installed on the Almera Classic is one of the most trouble-free Nissan QG series engines. The timing drive is carried out by a fairly reliable chain, the resource of which is about 150,000 km, although there are cases of its stretching and replacement both on runs of less than 100,000 km and over 200,000 km. "Atmospheric" with a simple design without hydraulic lifters periodically requires adjustment of valve clearances, which will be indicated by a characteristic metallic knock during engine operation.

There were no major problems with this engine. Many of his ailments are associated with stretching a chain worth 4,800 rubles, which asks for a replacement, making noise while the engine is running, and preventing it from starting normally. The causes of traction failures and floating idle in the Almera Classic should also be looked for in the wear of the timing chain. And the “four” may not start well due to the throttle valve requiring cleaning or a clogged fuel pump grid. Or maybe because of the wear of the latter. A new one will cost 10,000 rubles.

The whistle, growing along with the engine speed, will tell you about the need to change the alternator belt roller for 1960 rubles, and maybe with it the belt itself, which costs from 800 rubles, if it is very worn out. The catalyst of a sedan worth 11,000 rubles is not eternal either. It will have to be changed about once every 5 years or earlier if specific noise and rumble appears in the exhaust system from crumbling parts of the “stuffing” of the catalytic converter. However, many simply remove this element in order to forget about the problem once and for all.

checkpoint

Nissan Almera Classic was sold with two types of gearboxes: 5-speed manual and 4-band automatic Jatco RE4F03A. The second is an example of durability and reliability. Its various versions and modifications at different times were installed on dozens of Nissan mono-drive models from Micra to Teana. And also for a couple of Infiniti and Samsung models. With a timely oil change, periodic cleaning of the radiator from dirt and operation without racing from traffic lights, this machine is able to cover up to 250,000 and even up to 350,000 km. But the MCP cannot boast of such survivability.

Most often, her health is undermined by the bearings of the primary and secondary shafts, which work out an average of 100,000 km, at 1,300 rubles each. The need to replace them will be indicated by an increased rumble of the transmission while driving. And it’s not worth delaying the repair, so that later you don’t have to change the broken shafts of the manual gearbox from 13,500 rubles. Approximately the same 100,000 km as the bearings serve as a clutch for 6,100 rubles. And with age, worn clutches and gear synchronizers from 2,500 rubles may be asked to exit, reporting this with a crunch and fuzzy inclusions of steps. If the clutch master cylinder leaked, which sometimes happens with Almera Classic, then prepare 2550 rubles for a new one.

Rest

In terms of suspension, a budget Japanese sedan will not cause much trouble, unless he worked in a taxi, where he wrapped hundreds of thousands of kilometers on the wheels. And if it is not periodically overloaded. For a thrifty owner, front levers for 8,000 rubles, wheel bearings for 900 rubles, front strut supports for 1,500 rubles and shock absorbers for 4,400 rubles may well go up to 100,000 km. And the rear hubs for 5600 rubles and the beam lever - all 150,000 km. If the car worked for wear and tear, carrying a full cabin of passengers or boxes and boxes of fruit, then the shock absorbers may not be enough for 50,000 km.

The pads of the front disc brakes last a little longer for 2,700 rubles, and the discs themselves, for 3,600 rubles, take care of about 90,000 km. Rear drum brakes are much more durable and can last more than 100,000 km before replacement. An electrician will bring some trouble to the owner of the Almera Classic with mileage. True, all of them, most often, are non-critical and are eliminated inexpensively. For example, the melting of the contacts of the loaded connectors of the dipped beam lamps in the headlights and the wiring breaking at the bends. Due to breaks in the wiring of the cooling fan sensors, the latter start to work constantly. Therefore, when inspecting the car you like, check whether all the electrics are working in it.

How much?

Since the Almera Classic has been on sale with us for quite a long time - about 7 years - the price range for this model in the secondary market is also decent. And since the sedan was initially relatively inexpensive, now its early copies can be bought quite cheaply: from 170,000 - 190,000 rubles. They ask so much for the first simple cars brought to us from Korea in 2006 with mechanics with a mileage of more than 200,000 km. For the same with a gun, their owners want at least 210,000 rubles. And the freshest cars of 2012 are estimated at 450,000 rubles.

Our choice

In general, the Nissan Almera Classic is an example of an affordable and at the same time reliable car that can serve its owner faithfully for many years. Someone, perhaps, will not pay attention to this sedan because of its unsightly and rustic appearance. But for those who appreciate reliability and unpretentiousness in cars, assigning secondary roles to showiness and beauty, this “Japanese” of the Korean assembly will fully suit. We at Am.ru believe that it is best to choose a used Almera Classic with a reliable automatic and not older than 2008, before which Nissan eliminated most of the model's shortcomings. Such a car with one owner in the TCP and a mileage of up to 100,000 km can be found up to 350,000 rubles.

Concern Renault Nissan makes the main bet on the general consumer, the main share of its products is designed for the middle class. The technical characteristics of the Nissan Almera classic are quite high at a very moderate cost, excellent build quality and components. In our country, this model is popular and even its assembly has begun at AvtoVAZ.

Nissan cars appeared on the Russian market back in the nineties of the last century. Used cars from the Old World and the Land of the Rising Sun were imported into the country. Our fellow citizens liked cars and minibuses because of their reliability and maintainability.

A good reputation was created for the brand and with the formation of an official representative office in 2005, active sales began. The company quickly climbed to fourth place in terms of sales. After that, in 2006, it was decided to build a plant in the Northern capital. In addition, the company entered into an agreement with the Volga Automobile Plant, where the assembly of Nissan Almera began.

Nissan Almera Classic - model history

The Korean division of Renault by Samsung Motors has developed and put into production a car under the brand name SM3. The basis for it was the N16 Pulsar platform created by French engineers.

The car turned out to be successful and relatively inexpensive. The company began searching for new markets for its model. The Korean name was not very suitable for Russia, in our country it became known as Almera.

Machines based on the N16 platform first rolled off the assembly line in the first year of this century. Almera was produced in three types of bodies: sedan, three- and five-door hatchback.

For the domestic Japanese market, the car was named Bluebird-Sylphy, in Singapore it was sold under the Sunny brand. By the time of its official appearance on the Russian expanses, the B10 model had acquired a modern look.

Nissan Almera classic, the photo of which is presented in the article, is a version of the Bluebird Sylphy adapted to local conditions. The novelty was presented to the Russian public at the end of the summer of 2012, and already in December the first production car left the AvtoVAZ workshops.

The production of the model was launched immediately in two trim levels, basic and top, the start of sales was quite successful.

Specifications Nissan Almera classic

The successful design of the car, a thoughtful advertising campaign and a reasonable pricing policy allowed the car to quickly take its place in the Russian market.

The technical characteristics of the Nissan Almera Classic are at a good average level, and in many respects exceed those of competitors. The machine has absorbed the latest achievements of design and design ideas.

The developers managed to balance the parameters of the power units with the characteristics of the transmission. The consumer was offered two configuration options: one with a manual gearbox, and the other with an automatic one.

The modern appearance and rich, by the standards of its class, interior equipment created the necessary conditions for the successful promotion of the model on the Russian market.

car exterior

The Russian Almera, on the one hand, has many original design elements, and on the other hand, it has retained its similarity with previous models. This similarity is clearly expressed in the likeness of the neat lines of the front wing and branded headlights with off-center direction indicators.

Among other things, the car retains the old radiator grille with a large and distinctive horizontal bar.

Smooth curves of the body and wheel arches, in which wheels with discs of 15 or 16 inches fit organically, are combined with a domed roof and thin pillars.

The stern turned out to be quite harmonious, branded rear lighting is located between the license plate frame and wings.

The design of the car is quite conservative and the Asian school is guessed in it.

Salon

The interior of the car is also not overly extravagant - everything is done quite simply, but the taste is felt.

A large wheelbase of 2700 mm and a width of almost 1.7 m provide spaciousness to the cabin, and the use of light materials in the decoration also visually expands the space.

Smooth contours and a two-level trim of the front panel and door trim with contrasting inserts in the doors - everything is in moderation and quite harmonious.

The driver's workplace is organized just fine. The three-spoke steering wheel is grippy and height adjustable. The chair easily adapts to a person of any build, because. has a wide range of settings.

The layout of the controls is well thought out: both experienced drivers and beginners get used to them quickly and without any problems. The instrument panel is informative: large round scales of the speedometer and tachometer at the edges, the rest of the indicators in the center.

There is enough space in the second row to comfortably accommodate two adult passengers, the transmission tunnel will create some inconvenience for the third.

The trunk of the car is roomy in volume, but the possibility of its use is limited to a small opening.

Excellent technical characteristics of the Nissan Almera classic, rather rich equipment (full power accessories and air conditioning in the basic version), stylish interior and exterior are the main components of the commercial success of this car.

Power unit and transmission

The car is equipped with a gasoline, in-line four-cylinder engine with a transverse arrangement. The classic Nissan Almera assembled at AvtoVAZ, the technical characteristics of which are given in the article, has two modifications: with a 5-speed manual gearbox (MT model) and with a 4-band automatic (AT model).

Characteristics of the power unit:

  • engine capacity - 1598 cubic meters. cm;
  • cylinder diameter - 79.5 mm;
  • piston stroke length - 80.5 mm;
  • maximum compression ratio - 9.8;
  • rated power - 102 hp;
  • torque at 3750 rpm - 45 Nm;
  • power supply system injector - distributed injection;
  • type of gas distribution mechanism - DOHC;
  • the number of valves per cylinder - 4;
  • timing drive - chain with hydraulic tensioner;
  • consumed fuel - AI-92 or AI-95 gasoline.

The systems that ensure the operation of the engine are controlled by an electronic control unit.

Their use made it possible to achieve a fairly low fuel consumption: per 100 kilometers, the Nissan Almera consumes no more than 6.5 liters on the highway and 11.9 liters in the city.

In a car with a manual transmission, these figures are even lower: 5.8 and 9.5 liters, respectively.

At the same time, the dynamic characteristics are on top: it picks up the first hundred cars in less than 11 seconds.

The fuel tank capacity is 50 liters, which provides the car with a long mileage on one gas station.

Professional installation of certified gas equipment is allowed on Nissan Almera Classic.

Torque from the engine to the automatic transmission is transmitted through a fluid coupling. A machine with a manual transmission is equipped with a diaphragm-type dry clutch with a single disc.

In the production of components and parts for the engine and transmission, only high-quality materials are used. The process of assembling and debugging units is carefully controlled, which provides a long service life.

Suspension and control systems

Nissan Almera Classic has a classic layout for a front-wheel drive car:

  • Behind: trailing arms connected by a torsion beam, with damping and elastic elements.
  • Front: McPherson-type suspension with telescopic shock-absorbing struts mounted on them with springs and single wishbones.

Cars assembled in our country are equipped with so-called packages for bad roads. The springs are made from a larger section of the rod and have a larger number of turns, which allows you to slightly increase the clearance without compromising stability and controllability.

The suspension is moderately stiff, when passing uneven road surfaces, even at high speeds, the car is well kept on a given trajectory. The resource of hydraulic struts and shock absorbers is quite large.

However, the use of gas-filled damping elements will make the car more comfortable and soften some of its reactions to bumps.

The Nissan Almera Classic has a rather sharp rack and pinion steering.

The hydraulic booster helps to significantly reduce the steering effort, which allows even women to drive a car with ease. This is especially convenient when driving at low speeds: parking lots, courtyards, gas stations.

High maneuverability is ensured by the optimal platform configuration and steering parameters.

The braking system of the Nissan Almera Classic is based on a proven dual circuit design.

ABS and EBD systems of our own design provide a uniform redistribution of forces during deceleration on slippery road surfaces, which significantly reduces the risk of skidding.

Ventilated brake discs are installed on the front wheels, and drums at the rear.

Equipment

In our country, the general consumer is offered twelve versions of this popular car. Seven of them are equipped with a manual transmission, the rest have an automatic transmission.

Such a variety provides the opportunity to choose the configuration that the buyer needs, taking into account his financial capabilities.

The base version of the Nissan Almera Classic has a nameplate designation: 1.6 MT PE. In this configuration, the car has only one for the driver.

Other amenities include: , central locking with remote control, halogen headlights.

The interior trim uses plastic and fabric, audio preparation has been made with the installation of two speakers in the doors. As people say: simple, but tasteful.

The top version of the Nissan classic 1.6 AT PE + boasts full power accessories, heated front seats, air conditioning with a dust filter, alloy wheels and other devices.

The machine is equipped with special fixings for the ISOFIX model child seat.

The presence of such a large number of complete sets allows us to satisfy customers with different requests.

Test Drive

To attract buyers, car dealerships of official dealers offer to make test drives around the territory and along city streets.

Nissan Almera classic, a test drive that allows you to evaluate the capabilities of the car, is usually carried out immediately before buying it.

The driver, who sat behind the wheel of such a car for the first time, very quickly gets used to the controls and after a few minutes feels quite confident on the road.

Thin racks, large glazing and sufficiently large mirrors provide a good overview.

On the Internet, you can find quite a lot of materials where the Nissan Almera Classic is being tested, and the video is filmed from the passenger compartment.

Cars with both automatic and manual transmission are quite dynamic, pick up speed easily and are well controlled. However, on a bad road, a somewhat excessive suspension stiffness becomes apparent.

Video - Nissan Almera classic test drive (Anton Avtoman):

On city streets and at low speeds, this disadvantage is practically not manifested.

On a slippery road, the Nissan Almera classic ABS video test drive clearly shows the car's ability to maintain a fairly well-defined trajectory. Even with a sharp pressure on the brakes, there was no stalling into a skid.

The presence of the system of redistribution of brake forces EBD allows you to ensure the stability of the machine even in the event of braking during maneuvering. The car perfectly holds the track in almost all driving modes and forgives the driver for many control errors.

Practical trips on a brand new Nissan Almera make it possible to draw several significant conclusions. The car does an excellent job with its main transport function and behaves remarkably on the road.

Given the attractive price, it can be forgiven for a non-transformable trunk and some flaws in the suspension. By the way, they are quite easily corrected by replacing the shock absorbers with gas-filled ones.

Tuning Nissan Almera classic

Almera is a fairly common car in our country. Those who want to somehow stand out compensate for its some facelessness different ways: install a plastic body kit, apply airbrushing to the sides, etc.

Experts who are well acquainted with this brand of car recommend tuning it in the following volume:

  • Install a full-fledged alarm system, which will significantly reduce the likelihood of theft.
  • Replace oil shock absorbers and struts with gas-filled ones.
  • Install a good music center with high-quality speakers, because. there are few speakers available and their quality is rather average.

Other changes - at the discretion of the owner. So the HUD projector of instrument readings on the windshield allows you to control the state of the car without being distracted from the control. Installation will allow you to feel more confident in the parking lots.

Nissan Almera Classic is another budget car. Even in new condition, this sedan is not too expensive, and if you pick up a used car in good condition, then you can get by with a very small amount. And we must not forget about the famous Japanese reliability. Theoretically, this simple car should be very reliable. And practically? Now we'll find out.

The body of Almera Classic is not subject to corrosion. But there are complaints about the paintwork. Already after 3-4 years of operation, it can come off the handles and moldings, although it keeps quite firmly on all body elements. There are several complaints about the salon. He doesn't make a lot of squeaks, but he looks too simple. Sometimes you have to deal with the problems of electrical systems. Usually, after a run of 60 thousand kilometers, the immobilizer begins to “fail”. Usually, the owners act very simply - they take off the terminals from the battery and thereby restart the car. They say it helps. Also, before buying, do not be too lazy to check the operation of the wipers in all possible modes. They may refuse to work due to broken contact on the mechanism motor.

Only one engine was installed on the Nissan Almera Classic - a 1.6-liter gasoline unit. The gas distribution mechanism of this engine uses a durable chain that can withstand 200 thousand kilometers without problems. But if you change it, then use only a good quality chain. Cases of stretching of low-quality chains have already been noted. Also be prepared that the engine will suddenly stall after a run of 140 thousand kilometers. And all because of the camshaft position sensor. And at the turn of 180 thousand, the car may start to start poorly and upset with failures in traction. You have to change the fuel pump and fuel filter. This usually helps. And most owners at the turn of 120 thousand kilometers will have to replace the muffler.

In a gearbox, and of any type, immediately after purchase, check the oil level. It is possible that it has not been topped up yet at the factory. In the "mechanics" after a run of 100 thousand kilometers, you will have to change the noisy output shaft bearing. Usually, by the same time, the transmissions begin to turn on indistinctly and with little effort. Approximately about 150 thousand kilometers the clutch will last. You can pick up a car with an automatic transmission, but a thorough diagnosis of the entire car is required. But focus on those sedans. That they have low mileage, since the resource of the “machine” is estimated at only 200 thousand kilometers. Although the “automatic” can start shifting gears with shocks after 100 thousand kilometers.

Suspension Nissan Almera Classic is very simple, so large financial injections into it are not expected. With a run of 100 thousand kilometers, it will be necessary to replace the outer CV joint, and the inner CV joint will withstand 180 thousand kilometers without any problems. About 140 thousand kilometers are front shock absorbers. The rear shock absorbers give up faster - in about 100 thousand kilometers. But most often you will have to pay attention to the racks. They may require replacement after 40 thousand kilometers.

There are no big problems in the steering. Tie rods serve about 160 thousand kilometers, and steering tips will require replacement at a run of 120 thousand kilometers. The steering rack itself will begin to leak and knock only after the car has traveled 170 thousand kilometers.

In the brake system, every 40 thousand kilometers will have to change the front brake pads. The rear pads can withstand about 100 thousand kilometers. But the brake discs become unusable a little earlier - after about 80 thousand kilometers. Also be prepared for brake valve sticking, which sometimes happens after a run of 100 thousand kilometers.

The famous Japanese reliability has not gone away. The Nissan Almera Classic has problems, but they're not that scary. And if you make a diagnosis of the car before buying and be aware of all possible problems, then you don’t have to worry at all. The simplicity of the design has a positive effect on reliability. So Almera Classic will definitely not let you down at the most inopportune moment.
